About Us

From the leaves right down to the pips, we love the flavours, the colours and the zeal that lemons represent. This lifelong fascination led us to Southern Italy and the lemon gardens of the Amalfi Coast, where we discovered some of the most dedicated artisans in the region. We embarked on a journey learning about the Southern Italian lemon culture and its remarkable history, which lies at the very heart of generations of tradition.

It was on their journey from Abruzzo all the way down to Vietri sul Mare, that our founders, Anik and Sophie, met an incredible community of growers, custodians and artisans who have been producing masterful, authentic premium products with the same traditional techniques passed down through generations. This is where Lemon Appeal was born.

Produced by our partners, L’Arcolaio, these linens are created by custodians of the great Abruzzo tradition of weaving. Connected to their roots, the third generation family business works exclusively with natural fibers and timeless techniques to offer something beautiful, functional and unique.

Down the main street in the historic centre of Vietri sul Mare, you will find our ceramics partners, right in the middle of the home of independent ceramic artisans. These passionate and dedicated creatives have been hand-crafting traditional ceramics in the region since the 17th Century.
